Disney Parks News ♥ September 2014 ♥ Frozen, Halloween, Christmas and loads more! ♥

Hey Lovelies ♥ I've been wanting to do this post for a while now and I feel I'm finally ready to try :) I'm going to sum up most of the news I've found out over this month and bits of last month about Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Most of my news will be about Disneyland Paris as I know most about that one as that's the one I live nearest too ;) I will also add some random disney news at the end ;)

There's been lots of drama and news in the Walt DisneyWorld this month including Frozen drama and the start of Halloween! 

Frozen Takeover!

So earlier this month we got the sad news that Maelstrom will be closing to be turned into a Frozen based ride in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot. I've never been to WDW therefore I've never been on Maelstrom but I've seen videos and it looked great. Of course I'm EXTREMELY happy that they are building a Frozen ride as I'm obsessed Frozen (if you didn't know!) but I just feel sorry for all the Maelstrom lovers. Disney Parks Blog said 'The new attraction, which replaces Maelstrom, will take our guests to Arendelle and immerse them in many of their favourite moments and music from the film. The pavilion will also include a royal greeting location where Anna and Elsa can meet our guests. We think these “Frozen” elements are great complements to the Norway Pavilion, which showcases the country and region that inspired the film.'

This also came with the news that Arendelle Sisters will be a big presence this Christmas as Queen Elsa will now transform Cinderella's Castle into an ice palace every night in early November. Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf will also all be making an appearance in 'Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade'. I feel extremely excited about this but I do feel sorry for Cinderella as it is her castle. I wish they could have done it together or something but oh well. The parade sounds great and I'm glad they are keeping Kristoff :)

Other News

• Epcot Food and Wine Festival started earlier this week on 19th September and will continue till 10th November. For more details click here

Luckily it seems Disneyland has been more calm than Disneyworld but I'm not the greatest follower of Disneyland so I don't know all the news but here are some of the main points for all you Disneyland lovers!

Anna and Elsa's Boutique

So about a month ago DisneyParks blog announced that Anna and Elsa were getting their own boutique in Downton Disney. The boutique will take over from Studio Disney 365 and will open on October 6th. The original opening date was mid September but they got delayed and had to make it a few weeks more but it's better to make it perfect! I'm really excited for this and can't wait to see what it looks like! Hope Disneyland Paris makes one of these ;) To find out more click here and here.

Mickey's Halloween Party
Halloween at Disneyland is celebrated from 12th September till 31st October 2014. Like Disneyworld, Disneyland also celebrate with a party..Mickey's Halloween Party is be accurate. It's held on selected nights just like WDW and you have to book tickets to attend. To book tickets and find out more click here!

ALOT of news has entered Disneyland Paris recently including a new CEO, princess visits and Halloween!

New CEO
Recently Disneyland Paris said goodbye to CEO Phillipe Gas and hello to the new CEO Tom Wolber. Phillipe has taken over Shanghai Disneyland so Good luck! Tom has been very busy in WDW as senior vice president of Walt Disney World Resort and Transportation Operations. He has overseen all 28 WDW hotels and helped launch Disney Dream and Fantasy cruise ships. He was helped continue the growth of Walt Disney Parks sports business. He even helped open Disneyland Paris back in 1992. I'm excited for the future of Disneyland Paris! For more information click here!

New Shop and Refurbishments

There is a ALOT of refurbishments going on at DLP at the moment including the Earful Tour getting a re coat of colour and new logo. Main Street has been getting an upgrade too including a new shop which replaced the Photo shop on the corner. It is called New Century Notions - Flora's Unique Boutique and is a vintage fashion shop with other souvenirs inside. It is very big and I personally love the look of it. It named after Walt's mother Flora which I think is adorable and I love that people actually thought about this ♥ For more pictures and information click here and here!

Maleficent Halloween!

Just like WDW and Disneyland, Halloween has come early for Disneyland Paris and everything is back just like last year but with some new differences! This year they have got with a Maleficent theme since they have just made a movie, it's Aurora's castle and she is the Mistress of All Evil ;) 

• Sleeping Beauty's Castle Courtyard will be transformed into a Disney Villain hang out with brambles and dark evil. Maleficent has invited all her friends to the hang out so you can meet some of the amazing Disney Villains! 
• Maleficent will also lead all her Disney Villain friends in a daily promenade through the Central Plaza to welcome guests. 
• You can Minnie in her Halloween dress at the Halloween Costume Corner. 
• You can meet Goofy at his Bonbons machine! 
• Former Main Street resident ghosts will take over Disneyland Park!
• Mickey will celebrate Halloween with a daily cavalcade with all his friends including a new float with The Three Little Pigs, Horace and Clarabelle! All the Disney Characters will be showing off their Halloween costumes too!
• You can also use the all new PhotoPass+ to save all your amazing pictures!
• Disney's Halloween Party is the Grand Finale on 31st October from 8:30pm to 1am to celebrate Halloween with all your Disney friends :)

A Frozen Christmas!
Disneyland Paris Christmas Season is going to be bigger and better than ever! Sadly Magic on Parade won't be showing during the Christmas season but there are things that are amazing happening :)

Huge News and Huge Queues!
I got way to over excited by the news that ELSA AND ANNA ARE COMING TO DISNEYLAND PARIS! Do you feel my excitement?! Yes finally Elsa and Anna will be doing Meet and Greets this Christmas at the Princess Pavilion. You will be able to meet BOTH princesses after that HUGE wait but it's gotta be worth it right ;)
Our Scottish lass, Merida will be making her debut appearance for a meet and greet with Winter by Casey's Corner (where Rapunzel did her Spring greet) so that's great for all the princess fans like me! I hope they both keep doing meet and greets after Christmas as I would love to meet them ♥

Parades and Promenades
So once again the Christmas Cavalcade will return but this time with a new float as Magic on Parade isn't running. The new float will be called 'Sugar and Spicy' and including Chip & Dale with others. There's been no pictures or art so far but I'm excited to see what it looks like with a name like that! The Princess will also be having Christmas fun this year as they are doing a Princess Promenade including the Arendelle sisters which sounds alot like the Spring and Villain Promenades so hopefully character interaction without having to queue hours! I hope so as it will be something different for Disneyland Paris having princess walking about :)

Lights and Fireworks
The giant tree is to return to spot with the light celebration happening with Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket talking and singing about Wishes. I've never seen it but it's meant to be magical..but really what part of Disney isn't?!
Disney Dreams! of Christmas will be returning which is great news as I watched it on Youtube last year and loved it especially the Frozen part. I think more people will enjoy it this year as alot of people hadn't seen Frozen when it debuted and now it's a major part of some peoples life. I love any type of Disney Dreams! show as it's my favourite ♥

Other Things

• Meet Minnie in her Christmas Outfit at her usual spot :)
• No Christmas would be right without Sandy Claws..or Jack dressed as Santa! 
• Use Photopass+ to capture all these amazing moments! 

If your going for Christmas have a truly magical time as it always looked amazing ♥

I just wanna finish by touching on the newest Disney on Ice show..FROZEN! Yes Frozen is now on ice..it was a pretty obvious choice ;) I can't wait this is come to the UK! Here a picture of Elsa during Let it Go and a video of the highlights to enjoy!

Oh and I saw the second Big Hero 6 trailer and I'm SO excited! I think all the characters look so great and so far my favourite characters are Hiro, Honey Lemon and of course Baymax :') I'm really liking Hiro's character from the trailers and extra videos but I don't know why..well guess I have to wait longer as it comes out in January for us in the UK :'(
