June 2014 Favourites ♥

Hey Lovelies ♥ I can't believe that it's the end of June already and it's already been a month since I went to Disneyland Paris..OMG :( We would actually be there right now..ok I need to stop depressing myself. Anyway, I gunna do my June Favourites today since it's nearly over..I can't believe it's nearly July..SUMMER is coming!

Music
I'm not surprised if this gif gives you a headache..I'm sorry! I have two music favourites this month including Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea. I love both of these artists so much and I'm in love with Problem by Ariana featuring Iggy, I seriously can't stop listening to it on repeat! I'm also in love with Ella Henderson's debut song Ghost and that is on repeat too.

Beauty
I didn't actually have a beauty favourite this month and it took me ages to think of something as I'm not the makeup guru most girls are! My gulity pleasure and love is Batiste dry shampoo. I have loved this stuff for months and used the pink one all the time then this year I found the blonde one so I tried it and it's amazing. It works so well on blonde hair and I would recommend all the hair coloured ones as my Mum uses the brown one and she loves it too.

Gaming
I have been loving my 3DS recently. Mario Kart and Style Boutique have been my favourites though and I have really enjoyed playing them. I love playing people around the world on Mario Kart and also unlocked different things. Style Boutique has been a favourite game of mine for a while since the first one came out and I just love the 3DS version so much.

Movie

I didn't there was actually a link when I decided on these two movies. I bought Tinkerbell and the Pirate Fairy on Monday when it came out and love it still. I can't wait to watch it again soon as it always gives me a good feeling. I actually really want to do a Peter Pan/Tinkerbell kinda of marathon where I watch all the Tinkerbell movies then the Peter Pan ones. I have also just fell in love again with the Peter Pan movie from 2003. I loved this movie when it first came out and when I decided to watch it the other night I couldn't remember it all. I'm so glad I watched it as it's probably one of my favourite movies so much that I want to watch it again! I love the soundtrack so much and will actually link it below as it is just so magical ♥ I actually idenifed with it alot which was strange (another post!) and I did actually cry at points :/

Book
I bought this book really recently and have just started the read it. It's called Anna's Icy Adventure and I have never seen it in the UK. It is beautifully written and I can't wait to read more! It is the story of Frozen but told by Anna and her perperstive. It has lovely black and white drawn pictures of the story which are so magical.

App
Now everyone probably knows about Instagram by now so I won't go on and on but I have been loving instagram recently. I have made some Disney friends and really been inspired by it. I have had it for a while now but not used it too much. I took part in a Disney magical picture a day thing by another instagrammer and I have really enjoyed doing it. Remember to follow me on instagram: nevergrowup_x

Website
This is literally me on Ebay! I have been loving Ebay recently as I have bought alot of Disney Princess Trading Cards and Frozen stickers on there to add to my collections. It has been amazing and I'm so glad that we have it!

TV
I have been loving the new series of Dance Moms...it's what makes Mondays better! I can't say much about it as its pretty self expanitory. The daughters dances and the Dance Moms are horrible but funny...you have to love them oh and Abby Lee!

That's it for my June Favourites ♥ Bye Lovelies ♥

Tangled: A Dazzling Day by Brittney Lee ♥ Book Review ♥

Hey Lovelies ♥ I got my first ever Brittany Lee book, YAY! I love Brittany Lee and her style of art so when I found out she did books for several Disney movies I knew it was a must buy. I have been dreaming of buying these books since Christmas and finally got to buy one! I decided to buy Tangled first as I love Tangled and this was actually the cheapest as I think it's the smallest. I got it from Amazon for £2.35 (I think) so I was super happy!

When I saw this book after it arrived and saw the cover I fell in love. It is bright and cute just like Rapunzel and the picture on the front is actually one of my favourite pictures in the entire book. The book is about Rapunzel's day seeing the lanterns. It is the story of Tangled but skips most of the actual story. It just tells you about how Flynn takes her the see the floating lights, how she feels and what they do in the village. I really loved how it wasn't the entire story over again as I have copies of that already so it was nice to have a alternative version.

Brittney Lee's artwork in this book is breathtaking. I loved her art anyway but this made me love it so much more. Each page has different drawings of the day with a little bit of writing. Each picture is beautiful and these are some of my favourites (above). I love how she captivates Rapunzel and gives her the cutesty, feminine and vulnerable look she has. I love the detail in the drawings but also the basic feel they give that makes they so beautiful.

I think two of the most beautiful pages are the last two when they are seeing the lanterns. The light is just right and gives off such a magical feel just from a picture in a book. I get the same feel in that I do in the movie during this scene and they are such beautiful drawings. I love the romance she can create between them from just a picture.

That's my review of A Dazzling Day by Brittney Lee for Tangled. I hope you enjoy the sneak peeks in the book and I fully recommend getting this if you love Tangled, Disney, Art or a Disney collector.

Tinkerbell and The Pirate Fairy Review ♥

Hey Lovelies ♥ The Pirate Fairy came out on DVD on Monday and I got my copy of course! I loved this movie in cinemas and couldn't wait to finally be able to watch it again. I bought the normal DVD copy and have seen it twice since I bought it. I'm going to do a overview type thing today to explain my thoughts and opinons about this.

The Pirate Fairy is the fifth movie in the Tinkerbell movies is probably my favourite tied with Secret of the Wings. I knew that I wanted to see this movie as soon I found out about it and knew Captain Hook would be in it and Tom Hiddleston would be voicing him..dream come true! As a HUGE Peter Pan fan this was amazing and I was super excited for it to come out. The movie starts going to the second star from London (YAY) to Peter Pan music which was so magical and as soon I heard the music I knew I was in love with this movie and it was only like 5 seconds in!!

The story is based around a dust keeper fairy called Zarina. She is described as the Tinkerbell of Dust Keeping as she is very curious and wants to experiment with dust and find out what it can do but this has never been done and isn't allowed in dust keeping. After experimenting against dust keeping law, she becomes too much of a danger to the Pixie Hollow, she leaves feeling sad and outcast.

So when your outcast and excluded from your home what do you do...BECOME A PIRATE OF COURSE! When the fairies discover the blue dust that keeps them from running out of pixie dust is missing they follow a blue trail that leads to a Pirate ship and who's the captain of that ship...Zarina of course. The fairies have to go on an adventure of a lifetime with friendship, old faces and thrill to save Pixie Hollow, get the blue dust back and prove to Zarina that friendship is the best magic.

As I said there as a few faces aboard the ship such as James the cabin boy who most people would know as the famous Neverland pirate Captain Hook and a little baby crocodile does appear throughout the movie, you can guess who that is!? There are also lots of Peter Pan references to pick up on as kind of hidden mickeys. I love this as I'm a HUGE fan of Peter Pan so I fangirled everytime a reference came up!

As a Peter Pan fan I loved this movie as I felt it took the Tinkerbell series 'home' and kinda gave Disney a reason to make the Tinkerbell movies. Since the movies started she has become a tinker fairy, met another girl and found her lost sister...so I'm glad they did come back to a kind of base with meeting Captain Hook, if that makes any sense! At certain points in the movie I did get the Peter Pan magical feel especially when James learns to fly with Zarina, it really made me feel back at Neverland. When you first see Skull Rock, I felt a sense of happiness as this is one of my favourite places in Disney and I'm super happy to see it in a Disney movie again!

I also absoultely LOVED the outfits that were designed for the fairies. Popular designer and Project Runaway Winner Christian Siriano designed Zarina's look for this movie and I have to say I'm in love. I would love to know what else Christian designed as I loved all of Zarina's outfits especially her pirate dress. The other fairies also get new pirate outfits for this movie and I love them too :')

Overall I really loved this movie and enjoy watching it whenever I do. I think Zarina is an amazing character and is probably one of my favourites even though I love all the fairies ♥ If your a Peter Pan fan I think you should watch this and you will probably be surprised on how much you enjoy it. Oh and can I just say..TOM HIDDLESTON is Hook..another main reason to watch!!

HAVE A BIG GIF OF TOM! AND OH YEAH HE SINGS!!!

I don't know if I've covered everything but I think this detailed review is enough! You can pick up The Pirate Fairy at most shops now in the UK and USA at least. I have some more reviews about recent Disney book buys so look forward to that!

Oh and by the way my last post was my 100th one! OMG! I thought I would just share so yay! Bye Lovelies ♥

My Top 20 Disney Characters ♥

Hey Lovelies ♥ I'm in a big Disney mood today so what's better than my Top 20 Disney Characters to round up the week :') This was really hard and I love so many of the characters..way more than 20 so this was a short listing. I probably missed some of my favourites out but oh well! I didn't include the original characters like Mickey and Minnie as I wanted to do a separate post on them but here's my Top 20 Disney characters!

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything else at all...Number 20 is Thumper :') I've never seen Bambi for years as I hate the fact the Mum dies but I do remember Thumper and love him so much. I have the thumper cuddle toy and pillow and love them both ♥ I love him throughout the movie and I love his little thump aswell.

We're all mad here...Number 19 is the Cheshire Cat. I've never been a massive fan on Alice in Wonderland as it kinda makes my head hurt but I have always loved the Cheshire cat and he has always been my favourite character. I loved how mysterious he was and kinda evil really!
Kitty! Number 18 is Sully or should I say James P. Sullivan ;) I have always loved Sully and thought he looked so furry and cute. I love how cute and cuddly he is and then can also terrify children! I also love Sully in Monsters University and I think that he is a great character!

I just can't wait to be king...Number 17 is Simba. I really like Simba as a character and have grown to like him more as I've got older. I like his attitude and fun side but his mature side when he finally goes back to Pride Rock :)

P Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney...yep Number 16 is Dory :D I love Dory and I'm so happy that they got Ellen to voice her as it's just perfection ♥ I literally watch Finding Nemo for Dory and the humour between her and Marlin. It just makes it so much better than she forgets everything..oh and don't even mention Finding Dory to me..SO EXCITED!!!

He's a Tramp but they love him...Number 15 is Tramp which is probably abit usual. I don't ever hear anyone ever say they like them and Lady is just peoples favourite but I love Tramp. I love his attitude and he just reminds me of Thomas O'Malley from The Arisocats. I would love a dog just like Tramp oh and Scamp..I love Scamp :)

You ain't never have a friend like me...Number 14 is Genie! I LOVE Genie and Robin Williams. I think that Genie is just like Dory that if you had any other person voicing them it would just sound wrong. I watch Aladdin purely for Genie and the songs to be honestly. I think it is one of the most funniest Disney movies and me and my family like to watch it together :')

It's not right for a woman to read...Number 13 is of course Gaston :') I love Gaston and to be honest number 12 and 13 are tied as I love them both the same. I love the sass of Gaston and I love how vain he is. He is one of my favourite characters and I don't think Beauty and the Beast would be complete without him ♥

My favourite part of the game Sudden Death...Number 12 is Lord of the Underworld himself Hades! As I've said I have the same love for Hades and Gaston as I feel they are quite similar even though now thinking about it they are nothing alike..awkward :/ Anyway..I love Hades sass and just general Hades. Hades scared me so much as a child but now I love him :')

This is my family, I found it all on my own...Number 11 is everyones favourite little alien Experiment 626 Stitch! I love Stitch so much and who can't..he's adorable! I love everything about Stitch and he kinda reminds me of myself in ways as I'm often confused and lost in the world and I'm sometimes quite angry but I'm very loving too ♥

For the first time in forever...Number 10 is Princess Anna of Arendelle :') I love Anna and her awkwardness so much especially because she is just so relatable. When I was watching Kristen Bell being interviewed for Frozen she said she wanted to create a princess that children and adults could relate to and I'm pretty sure she did that so Well Done Kristen ♥ Anna is just so loveable and clumsy..I love her more everytime I watch the movie!

Ladies don't start fights, but they can finish them...Number 9 is Marie :) Marie has been a favourite of mine since I was small. I always loved her pink bow and how she was white and the only girl. I remember having a Marie toy too! I love how ladylike she is but has that streak of boyish side to her from her brothers.

It's so cute, it's like a baby unicorn...Number 8 is everyones favourite talking snowman Olaf! I'm in love with Olaf literally...whenever I see something with Olaf on I will just shout Olaf. He's just the guy I dream of but in a snowman :/ I love how he's cute, funny and loves warm hugs ♥

I'm surrounded by idiots...Number 7 is my favourite villain Scar! I just love him so much and everytime I watch The Lion King I remind myself why..he is just awesome and so creepy. I love how his plans actually work until Simba comes back and he tells Simba about Mufasa. Love you Scar ♥

Here's come the smoulder...Number 6 is Flynn Rider or Eugene Fitzherbert :) I have loved Flynn even before I saw Tangled as he is a pretty good looking character :/ I just love how his and Rapunzel's relationship forms and he opens up to her. I loved his clothes and of course his looks! Oh Eugene!

It's been a real slice...Number 5 is Meg ♥ I love Meg and her attitude throughout the movie and how she mellows (I think that the word) towards the end. I think her sarcasm is good and I love the sass between Meg and Hades ;) Gotta love abit of Meg ♥

I wanna see the floating lights...Number 4 of course is Princess Rapunzel of Corona ♥ I realised while watching Tangled a few weeks ago how much I love her and it really rekindled my love for Rapunzel and her personality. I'm very like Rapunzel in alot of ways just like Elsa, she like my more fun side :')

Let it Go...Number 3 is my queen, Queen Elsa of Arendelle ♥ You will all know my love for Elsa if you have read my blog posts for a while. She is my favourite Princess/Queen along with Rapunzel as I can relate to her alot throughout the movie. I also love Idina Menzel voicing her and it gives her the right edge she needed.

Faith Trust and Pixie Dust...Number 2 is Disney most famous fairy Tinkerbell! I LOVE Tinkerbell and always have. She was probably one of my favourite characters since I was young as I have had obsessions over her and even Tinkerbell parties! I do prefer her in the Peter Pan movies to her own as I loved her selfish and angry she got but I guess she doesn't have Peter to protect in her own movies. I have also always loved her look ♥

The Second Star to the Right...Number 1 is of course my Peter ♥ Peter Pan is my favourite Disney movie and when I'm sad I love to thinking about Peter Pan and watch the movies because they always give me hope and make me happy. I feel Peter Pan gives us alot of the old Disney magic. I will always believe in Peter Pan and Neverland till I die (sounds stupid but who cares?!) because it keeps me going and it's always somewhere to escape to in my dreams and my thoughts when life gets too much ♥

That's my rundown of my Top 20 Disney Characters :') I have so many other favourites like Cinderella and Alice but these were the first that came into my mind. I will leave you with some Peter Pan Disney confessions that really relate to me so much ♥
