20 Christmas Questions

Hey Guys! Sorry for the total lack of posts in the second half of this year but I'm hoping to improve and start posting more again next year! It's so close to Christmas now, that I thought I could only do a Christmas post :) So I'm watching James and the Giant Peach, which my a childhood favourite, and here is 20 Christmas questions! 

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?

This is easy, absolutely hot chocolate! 

2. Coloured Lights or White?

I actually don't mind but I'd probably say white..more like cream to be honest, they can be too white otherwise they hurt my eyes :)

3. Stocking or Presents?

I've never really done the whole stocking properly..maybe when I was younger but we had big sacks instead with our names on, which I thought was the best! But I'm going to have to say presents, since I love that feeling of coming down stairs and seeing them under the tree :)

4. Give or Receive Gifts?

Of course everyone loves to receive gifts, but I also LOVE to give gifts to each people! It's so fun and I love searching for the perfect thing and seeing the looks on their faces. 

5. Angel or Star?

I'm pretty sure we used an angel when I was younger but now we use a star and I love it :)

6. Open Presents Quick or Slow?

I actually don't know what I do but I'd say slow, we take our time opening but not at a super slow speed ;)

7. Warm fires or Sleigh rides? 

I do love a sleigh but a warm fire is just as good.

8. Snow ball Fight or Making snowmen?

Making Snowmen as I hate getting snow all over me! 

9. Carolling or Christmas stories?

Christmas stories, I love how magical they can be :) 

10. Red or Green?

I feel a combination of the two is best but we use more red in my house than green.

11. Fake Tree or Real?

I do love a real tree but I've never had one. We have a fake tree with snow and glitter on, I LOVE IT!

12. Were you Naughty or Nice this year?

Nice, of course ;)

13. What’s your favorite Christmas food?

I'm not a massive fan of christmas food like mince pies etc. but I do love chocolate and the selection boxes and tubes of sweets are the best!

14. Do you shop early or late?

EARLY! I hate the crowds and busy shops so I'm a super early shopper!! 

15. What’s your favorite Christmas song?

All I want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey, it always gets me in a christmas spirit :)

16. Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Yes it was super pretty, I was singing in my christmas show at primary school and we were singing White Christmas and snow started to fall, it was magical! We don't get much snow in the UK though.

17. What’s the best gift you’ve ever gotten?

I think one year I got my first laptop and first phone and felt so lucky and grown up! 

18. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

I actually don't think I can! Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixon, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, Rudolph..is that right?!

19. What is your Christmas wish this year?

Ooo..that next year I just feel better and have more confidence, I guess. I'm on better meds now so I feel better :)

20. What part of Christmas do you look forward to the most?

Probably either Christmas morning or Christmas dinner, I love sitting at the table as a family :)

Christmas Toy Guide 2015

Hey Guys! I had nothing much to do today as I thought why not try blogging?! So here I am. I decided to do a Christmas Toy Guide since Christmas is nearly here! I picked some of my top toy picks for this year for anyone of any age since I love toys and I'm 16 so it's not just for younger kids at all!! 

The Star Darlings are one of Disney's newest projects. The Star Darlings are a group of girls, who attend Starlight Academy and have been chosen to go on a journey to Earth to grant 12 special wishes in order to save their world of Starland from an evil force. All the girls are super unique and all have different designs and personalities, plus they are all super colourful! You can get Star Darling books and the newly released dolls exclusive at Justice and Disney Store.com, sadly they haven't made there way to the UK yet :( They all come with a stand and light up base too!

The Good Dinosaur is Disney latest movie and with that comes a lot of merch from plushies to playsets! I feel that the Good Dinosaur toys would provide fun to anyone of any age or gender. Join Arlo and Spot on their adventures and you can play and make your own adventures at home :) You can find toys for this movie in most toy selling stores from cheaper general toys to more expensive deluxe Disney Store toys.

Over the past 3 years, there have been 3 generations of Disney Infinity with 3.0 being the newest. I still feel that with every game the experience gets better combining characters and worlds we love. Disney Infinity is a great game for Christmas as they are tons of characters and playsets to choose from and you also get a pretty cool figure out of the characters too for display. You can find Disney Infinity at most supermarkets with a gaming section and any game stores, also online :)

Since the newest addition to the Equestria Girls movies, The Friendship Games just came out there are plenty of awesome dolls and toys to find from motorcross bikes to sporty deluxe dolls. You can collect dolls in their casual school spirit outfits or when they are look totally cool in their super sporty style outfits. There are also dolls from both the Wondercolts and Shadowbolts to collect. You can even have your dolls ride on the awesome new motorcross bike with detachable gold wings that you can also put on your equestria girl! But if you really wanna step it up and make your own Canterlot High adventure then you can with the Canterlot High playset complete with lockers, codes for the free app and an exclusive DJ PON3 doll with working DJ decks! You can find all of these at any toy shop or online :)

 Bratz made an epic return this year with a whole new look and they would be a super cool present. Bratz work with all ages as you could introduce a younger child to them or even older ones can get nostalgic (like me) and want to buy their favourites! There are so many ranges already and even the bigger playsets like the Snowlodge to choose from. Each girl has their own style and look in each of the different ranges and rocks in throughout. There's even the new girl Raya, who loves bright colours! You can find Bratz in most toy shops and online :)

I honestly don't know much about Star Wars but I do know that there is a new movie coming out real soon so that means killer toys! I feel my personal favourite is a lightsaber as they are SO COOL but the Millennium Falcon is a close second. Build a Bear have also got tons of awesome bears and outfits to make the perfect Star Wars bear, which I think it pretty cool.

 Are you like me and always wanted the Animator Doll set but didn't have enough space since they are so huge..then worry no more..here are the Mini Animator Dolls! I'm so glad Disney finally made smaller versions as they Animator dolls are one of my favourite Disney collections but I could never fit over 15 huge dolls in my room so these are perfect. You can get the dolls individually in cute little carry cases with little accessories or you can buy all of them in one huge box, without the accessories. I got the Anna & Elsa for my birthday in March and I loved them. I didn't play with the accessories much and I hated how most of them didn't actually stand up so I couldn't display them so for Christmas I'm getting the big boxset as I'd love them all but without the little pieces added! It all depends what you want but the choice is there. These are of course Disney exclusive, you may be able to find these at the Disney Parks but I know Disney Stores sell them :)

 Lego is great universal present that can make alot of people happy. Up until this year I didn't like Lego, it made me angry and annoyed but then I found Lego Friends and fell in love since the bricks weren't grey and black, they were purple, pink and blue and super fun to put together. I now must have over 20 sets and I love it, my latest set I bought yesterday, which was the hot air balloon set :) I also recently got the Frozen castle and can really recommend it, it's super cool! You can also get Marvel, DC, Lego Movie, Star Wars to name a few to entertain who ever you need too! You can find Lego in pretty much any toy store and of course the LEGO store :)

Barbie have always been huge and now they have expanded to a bigger range with their newest Barbie Fashionistas. Including in the line is a Barbie with half a shaved head, which is TOTALLY new to the Barbie range. I feel the fashion is alot better in the dolls instead of the dated pink things that we sometimes see, I love the difference in all the dolls and the awesome molds. 

You can find these in your local toy shops and supermarkets with toy sections normally and of course online! 

Ever After High and Monster High are still super popular and have tons of new dolls coming out all the time so they are the perfect presents! With great ranges of characters and designs to lots of fancy and detailed playsets, they truly are a collectors piece too. Monster High has recently released Boo York, the Frightfully Tall Ghouls and the newly released Great Scarrier Reef. Ever After High has also recently released Way to Wonderland, new signature dolls, Gigantic Maddie Hatter and the Dragon Games. Be sure to pick these up now in time for Christmas as they are sure to be gone!

Pretty Little Liars Tag

Hey Guys! So my blog roll kinda ended but I felt ready to blog again today so here we are! I've been feeling really down lately but I'm on new medication and I'm feeling much more positive and better in my head :) I really wanted to do my MCM Comic Con Haul today but I didn't have the pictures ready so I thought that this would do. I only recently got into Pretty Little Liars, at the beginning of the year, thanks to Netflix! I've now seen all the episodes and it is really good, so I looked for a tag since my last TV show tag for Once Upon a Time did really well :)

WARNING - THIS POST WILL CONTAIN HUGE SPOILERS FROM ALL SEASONS!

1 – Who is your favourite liar?  

I love all the girls but my favourite has to be Hanna. She just makes me laugh with her funny comments to alot of the tense situations. She also reminds me of myself in that she generally does/says things with thinking properly first, which can sometime backfire. 

 2 – Who is your favourite couple?

I actually love two of the couples. The first is 'Spoby', which is Spencer and Toby, because they have been through some much for Toby's beginning, his family, being on the A Team and Spencer's addictions, crazy life and her family, they have pulled through even through the tough times and are such a cute couple! My other favourite is 'Haleb', which is Hanna and Caleb. I think I love their relationship so much because they test each other so much and push each others buttons but inside they truly love each other and wanna protect each other. 

3 –  If you could have anyone’s wardrobe, whose would it be?

I'd LOVE some of Hanna's wardrobe! I love the elegant, classy look she had in the beginning to the edgy rocker clothes she wears. I also love alot of Aria's clothes but I don't think they would suit me much! 

 

4 – What is your favourite episode?

Wow I have quite a few favourite episodes..so here we go! My first has to be 1x01 (Pilot) as it's the first episode and it got me so hooked. You meet all the girls and the mystery starts.

2x12 (Over My Dead Body) I loved how each the girls had a task to do so that they could save Dr Sullivan. Emily sees Ali in a dream state and they end up being caught by the cops again. 

2x13 (The First Secret) This is probably one of my top favourites as I loved it! I love how it went back in time and we see Ali experiencing 'A' for the first time and it's super creepy. 

2x24 (If These Dolls Could Talk) This one was alot like episode 12 that I loved as they each had a task to do and it got really creepy in the doll shop..

3x12 (The Lady Killer) I wasn't a massive fan of the Maya storyline but this episode was explosive and creepy...I hated Nate!

3x13 (This Is a Dark Ride) I wasn't expecting too much from this episode and it was all set on a Halloween train with the girls but hell it was one CRAZY train ride!

4x12 (Now You See Me, Now You Don't) I felt so sad when Hanna's mum was arrested and I thought this episode was slow but creepy and the big Ezra reveal at the end was crazy!!

4x13 (Grave New World) This was another action packed episode, I found Ravenswood way to creepy and I hate gas masks and there was a person walking around creepy everyone out! And then Ali appears!! WHAT!?

5x24 (I'm a Good Girl, I Am) This episode was actually kinda emotional as you really saw a different side to Ali, she is actually scared.

I didn't include any of the premieres or finales as they are all on my list as they are generally my favourites from every season. I think my favourites are The First Secret, Welcome to the Dollhouse and Game on Charles. 

5 – Who is your favourite PLL parent?

Ella, Aria's Mum, I feel she is a great character and I liked her wedding storyline and I just feel she needs more storylines and screentime. I also loved the Mum's scene in Season 6, when they all got together! 

6 – What is your favourite message received from A?

Again I have a few...

‘I’m still here, bitches. And I know everything -A’ (pilot)

It's not over until I say it is. Sleep tight while you still can Bitches. -A  (for whom the bells tolls)

Mona played with dolls. I play with body parts. Game on, bitches. –A. (it happened that night)

7 – What has been the biggest shocking moment for you? 

Since I was so late to watch the show I already knew that Mona was the first A and thanks to a spoiler on facebook I knew Cece was A too, which kinda ruined some of the tension from the episodes but the biggest shock for me was probably Ezra's secret book project. I had NO idea about that and I just thought 'OMG What the Hell?!'. 

8 - Were you happy with the A reveal in the finale?

As I said above, I already knew who A was and I felt they took it is a interesting direction. I felt Cece was odd for the moment we met her and she was my guess along with Wren..he was just creepy! I would never have guessed the story that Cece had and I think it was different and they could alot with it if they decide to. I'm glad that the A storyline is over now though as Season 6 about the same thing sometimes dragged abit. 

Before I finished my favourite scene in the whole show has to be Hanna's dance routine, if you have not seen you need to..it's literally me!

Currently I Am...October 2015

Hello..anyone there?! I'm actually typing on my blog for the first time since August! I'm can't believe I've been gone so long but now I'm typing it's just flowing and I'm loving it. I decided to give my blog a new banner, this time with the Equestria Girls since the Friendship Games just came out and I LOVE this group shot :') I'm really hoping I can keep blogging now that I've started but make sure to like my facebook page to get updates and I also have been making tons of PMVs on my Youtube. 
Anyway, today I thought I'd start with a general post that I haven't done in ages so here is my 'Currently I Am' for October..

Reading...Disney Descendants, I loved the movie so thought I'd read the book ;) 
Watching...TV season has started and I'm watching Strictly Come Dancing with my Mum at the moment as well as Season 5 of MLP and OUAT! I also finally caught up with all the seasons of Pretty Little Liars, wow there was ALOT!! 
Playing...My parents actually just bought me a new gaming pc and I'm waiting for it to come tomorrow, so excited to play Sims 4 again as my old pc couldn't handle it :|
Trying...to get back on the blogging train :')
Eating...alot of pasta and cheese recently..it's super filling! 
Cooking...still nothing...no change there!
Texting...I've actually been pretty anti-social for the past few weeks and messaged my friend from the US for the first time in awhile today, I've missed chatting with her!
Pinning...nothing..
Tweeting...I think my blog automatically tweets my blog posts and youtube likes..does that count?!
Crafting...I recently got into LEGO Friends and now I'm addicted!!

August Music Playlist!

Hey Guys! Sorry it's been forever again but I haven't been feeling into blogging and haven't had the right mind set. I'm hopefully going to try blogging again so I thought I'd start with my August Music Playlist since it's the beginning of August and I'm finally listening to things other than ponies ;) So here we go! 

Human - Christina Perri

I heard this song a few months ago and liked it but never got into it properly, then a few days ago my Sister started singing it as she likes it too and decided to listen again and I fell in love. I think the lyrics are perfectly true and come from the heart. I even made a PMV for the song, which will be uploaded to my Youtube Channel really soon :) 

Black Magic - Little Mix

This is one of my favourite songs and music videos in 2015 so far. From the first time I heard it, I loved it and have had it on repeat since. I think it's my favourite song from the girls and I just can't stop listening. I knew as soon as heard that it was made for a PMV as it just had that cheesy movie film. The PMV will be on my Youtube soon too, which I love since I got to work with The Dazzlings ;)

Shut Up and Dance - Walk the Moon

This is tied with Black Magic as my favourite song in 2015 so far. I haven't liked alot of pop music in a long time really and I was surprised to hear one I loved. This song has a very 80s feel to it and I LOVE IT! It just makes me feel good and happy. I also made a PMV for this one too, which will be up soon ;)

Easy Love - Sigala

When I first heard this song I thought what the hell is this?! Then I heard it more and more and now I really like it. I don't have much to say about it actually, but I love the beat alot.

Come and Get It - John Newman

I've liked John Newman since I first heard him and I'm so excited that he has a new AWESOME song. It's such a simple song but it's perfect. I really love everything about it and listen to it way too much!

Make a New Dance Up! - Hey Ocean!

A while ago I decided to check out 'Hey Ocean!' as I found out that my favourite voice actress on MLP was the singer of the band. I'm talking about Ashleigh Ball, who voices Rainbow Dash & AppleJack..plus loads of other random ponies ;) I've listened to most of their songs and this is by far my favourite, it just makes me wanna get up and dance! 

Salvation - Gabrielle Aplin 

I'm pretty sure they use this song for the X Factor maybe..I'm not sure but I've heard the background music before. I first heard the song on a recent trailer for 'The Little Prince', which looks amazing, by the way (too sad for me..I cried at the trailer!). I took an exist love to the song and had to find it. Now I can't stop listening to it as it just such a peaceful song and the background music is so powerful. I LOVE THIS SONG!

Set it Off - Disney Descendants 

Disney Descendants finally premiered yesterday in the US..sadly the UK have to wait till Fall but thanks to the Internet I've seen it ;) I remember following this movie from the beginning, when I first heard about it and internally screamed..then I realised it was a Disney Channel movie and cried inside as they don't have the greatest reputation anymore. I loved Disney Channel movies when I was growing up and kids these days probably still do, but the recent ones I've seen haven't been the best. I'd say the best recent one (after Camp Rock 2) is Teen Beach Movie. There are some newer Disney Channel movies that I don't even get why they are movies or on Disney Channel..like 'How to Build a Better Boy' and 'Zapped'?! Anyway..then it was announced that Kenny Ortega was going to direct and they were making it a musical..my life had been made! I love Kenny Ortega, since he made the movies that shaped my childhood massively, High School Musical! I didn't have too high hopes for this movie but it surprised me alot. I felt it kept with that classic Disney magic but almost added that Once Upon a Time feel. I also thought some of the songs were pretty good, such as Set it Off, If Only, Did I Mention and Evil Like Me. I might do a full overview/review soon but for now this is what I thought ;)

SDCC MLP Song - Lena Hall

I'm not sure what this song is called at the moment but I called it 'Just a Pony' on my Ipod..anyway it doesn't matter, I love it! I can't stop listening! It's addicted and already one of my favourite pony songs, even though it hasn't even aired yet ;) Today Daniel Ingram, one of the songwriters for MLP, announced that there are 30 upcoming songs to release. I'm guessing that includes part 2 of Season 5, Friendship Games and maybe Season 6. I don't care but 30 new pony songs sounds amazing to me!

Before I go I just wanna share this new Exclusive Short for the Friendship Games. Yesterday the MLP Facebook Page announced that like Rainbow Rocks, they are releasing shorts before the movie airs. They are going to be on the MLP Facebook page every Saturday up till the release (26th September), so get excited! Here's the first one for you :)

I've read the forth Equestria Girls book, which was 'Sunset Shimmer's Time to Shine' and it was alot like this short as she wants to find out how Equestrian Magic works in this world and she tests all her friends out to help her. I wonder if the shorts are going to be the Sunset Shimmer book in shorts or about the Friendship Games and them doing their sports, like in the Rainbow Rocks ones, where you saw them get their instruments. It would make sense for them to make the book into shorts as the second Equestria Girls book was all about the shorts they released for Rainbow Rocks. Guess we will have to wait ;) 

I also just wanna say how I love the new powers they are getting with the ponying up thing...rainbows, butterflies..unlimited apples?! And I LOVE SCIENCE SUNSET SHIMMER! She reminds me so much of Twilight..but not as annoying..in my opinion ;) I can't even believe that Sunset Shimmer was a villain in the first movie anymore!! Anyway, I'm super excited for next Saturday's short :)

My Little Pony SDCC News!

Hey Guys! So the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) is going on right now and that means loads of new news for some many fandoms including My Little Pony and Equestria Girls. The main panel for the show was yesterday and we got some great news and new clips so I'm going to share them all here and give my opinions. 

Since I'm using new information about upcoming episodes, seasons and movies, this post is 

FULL OF SPOILERS!! I WARNED YOU!

So I'm gunna start of with my opinions on the notes that were given first :)

 

• Today's episode starts with Rainbow Power and Luna going Nightmare Moon Mode - I'm so excited, it sounds epic!

• Every season they try to push flash further and further as their equipment and skills improve. They always challenge themselves to make the episodes more awesome. - I already think that the animation is amazing and I'm excited to see how much better they can make it :)

• Excellent dialogue between Lyra and Bonbon (Ashleigh Ball and Andrea Libman). Lyra jealous of Bonbon staring at Applejack - This sounds super interesting..more Lyra and Bonbon?

• Awesome animatic with a song from Lena Hall played - We got a clip of this and it's breathtaking..more about that later ;)

• Fluttershy has a brother. We will see him soon! - WTF?! What is with all these ponies keeping family member a secret for ages..it's Season 5 and we haven't even heard of Fluttershy's brother?! She has beat Twilight on who can keep their brother a secret the longest ;)

•  Apple Family stuff on the way, with Hearthswarming Eve episode on the way for it. - I LOVE the Apple Family so I'm really excited for this and I loved the last Heathswarming Eve episode so this should be great :)

• Season 6 currently being recorded - YAY MORE PONIES!

•  You may see a return of a villain or two, but not in the way we think. - Damn..so secretive! I have no clue what this could have to do with but it sounds EPIC!

• Jayson is currently working on the movie - join the hype train for the movie!

• New character coming: Orchard Blossom. Meghan thinks shes hilarious. - I'm really excited for this! I love new characters especially funny ones ;)

• Starlight Glimmer is coming back! - OMG WTF?! I knew she was gunna come back but now I'm really scared...she creeps me out so badly!

Now onto some of the questions from the Q & A, that I found the most interesting :)

•  Q: Will Gilda come back in season 6?
   A: Lets just worry about season 5! - OMG MORE POSSIBLE GILDA, YES!! 

• Q: What season are the CMC Getting their cutie marks?
  A: When they deserve them. They asked if they want them to get their marks, and all the kids said yes. - HURRY UP AND GET THEM ALREADY..IT'S KILLING ME!

•  Q: Are they going to involve Pinkie pies sister in any other big episodes?
  A: Maud and all the pies are coming. - AHAA! YAY, I LOVE THE PIE FAMILY! WAY TO HYPED FOR THIS!!

• Q: Are we going to run into the original sunset shimmer human?
  A: Perhaps. - THIS MAKES ME WAY TO EXCITED FOR THE FUTURE!

• Q: Are we ever going to see more sons based on other musicals?
  A: They take a lot of inspiration from everything music wise. They keep trying new things. He thinks we will be happy. Frozen vibes on the way.  - IF YOU DON'T KNOW I LOVE FROZEN, SO THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE! 

• Q: Will there ever be an episode where one of the mane 6 helps a pony out with autism?
  A: They have thought about it. - THIS COULD BE INTERESTING IF IT EVER HAPPENED, COMING FROM A GIRL WITH AUTISM ;)

• Q: Will there be any news about Cadance and Shining having a foal?
  A: A very long maaaybe? What happens in crystal empire stays in crystal empire. - THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN, IT WOULD BE WAY TO CUTE!!

•  Q: What would happen to each of the mane 6 if the rainboom didn't happen?
  A: Wait for the finale! - I LOVE WHEN PONIES GET ABIT 'MUCKED UP' LIKE RETURN OF HARMONY BUT THIS SCARES ME ALOT!

• Q: Are we ever going to find out everyone's greatest fear?
  A: They have a fun episode coming up about being afraid of things, showing what each of the characters find scary. - I'M WAY TO OVER EXCITED ABOUT THIS BUT IT SOUNDS AWESOME!

So these clips are only drawn at the moment but they look and sound amazing.

First up we have the Season 5 Finale Sneak Peek! 

OMG I'M SO EXCITED BUT NERVOUS AT THE SAME TIME!!..I'M NERVOUSCITED ;) 

Anyway, I cannot wait for this finale as it just looks amazing from this 2 minute clip. I knew Starlight Glimmer would be back but she creeps me out more this time than in the premiere..she just seems more evil..and her plans scare me.. 

During the Q & A, someone asked what would happen if the rainboom never happened that originally connected them all and gave them all their cutie marks..and the answer was wait till the finale, so I'm way to excited! The first thing that pops into my mind is Time Travel as we have seen it's possible in 'It's About Time' and it would explain why Twilight is giving a lecture at the beginning all about that moment. The theme this season is Cutie Mark Magic so that would also make sense. I'm really excited for this finale and it kind of feels like Magical Mystery Cure if it was done in 2 parts and not as rushed.

So we found out a while ago that Lena Hall was going to feature in an episode of My Little Pony. I didn't know who Lena Hall was actually until I research and found out she was a Tony Award winning musical actress and now I've heard this song I can see why, it's breathtaking. During the Q&A, we were told that they had used a Frozen vibe to one of the songs and I feel it's this one as all I can feel is Let it Go. Alot of people are already thinking about who this pony is. My first thought was a celebrity pony who needed help and after reading comments and watching it again I noticed different things. Applejack tears up during the song so she must be a family member or someone extremely close to her as nobody else is crying. People are suggesting it's AJ mum and she was ashamed that her cutie mark wasn't an apple so she ran off and the map calls them to help her but then we see the CMC and I'm not sure why they would be there. I also noticed that when she shows her cutie mark, they is a big light kind of like when we see the Mane 6 get their cutie marks in 'The Cutie Mark Chronicles' so is she an adult blank flank and just gets her cutie mark while singing and accepting who she is?? I'm not sure but either way the song is beautiful and I've heard it over 10 times now. It could be my favourite song of the season..or even the whole show! It just reminded me why I love these little ponies and gave me hope for the future :)
