Small Disney Collective Haul...Again! ♥ July 2014 ♥

Hey Lovelies ♥ I'm sorry I haven't posted since Saturday but I haven't been feeling great and it's also the last week of school here in the UK so YAY SUMMER! I promise I'm going to start posting more as usual and keep up with my photo challenge (I know I'm seriously behind..photos coming soon!). I thought I would do something simple today as I'm feeling kinda sad but here we go!

I found this Ariel shimmer lip balm at my local pound shop. I only actually bought it because I loved the case that it was in. It has a super cute picture of Ariel on it with her autograph. I love disney lipbalms and this one wasn't actually too bad but the case was lovely :')

I also found this super cute Disney photo frame in the same pound shop and had to get it. I put a picture of my family with Baloo at Disneyland Paris and it looks super cute! I love Donald's face on this frame and the other characters look funny too.

My Dad bought me this Disney Princess shopper from The Disney Store when I was in there buying something else. I love this so much and it's probably one of my favourite ones as I love the Disney Princesses ♥ It has the princesses in their new designs and I quite happy that Belle was quite big on this bag as she normally isn't. I collect these now and wish I got The Little Mermaid one last year and the Tangled one from years ago :/

I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS TOWEL! I saw this beach towel on the American Disney store site months ago and was so sad that they didn't have it in the UK and then one day it just popped up on the UK website and I was super happy as I could finally get it without having to pay tons of postage! I loved this concept art when I saw it in the Art of Frozen book so I'm glad it made in onto a towel :D YAY OLAF!!

This is a kinda random buy and I only bought this because it's Disney. I saw Disney Princess ones when I was in Next but decided that the pound shop might have some and I found this! I bought Donald, Daisy, Minnie and Mickey. I've never had a PEZ in my life so this was totally new to me. The sweets are ok but I'm not going to probably eat them..they have such a weird texture..I bet you don't that everyday..I'm going to shut up now :/

I'm so happy with this buy. I found this on Ebay on auction with about 2 days to go and decided to chance it and bid. It started at 0.99p and I actually won it for £1.50 which I couldn't believe. I had seen some of these pins go for £10 to £15 on ebay so for £1.50 I was excited! It's my first Rapunzel pin of my collection so YAY!

I didn't actually buy this pin. I got some penpal mail today from my amazing friend from Florida and  she sent me this Belle pin as she knew I had just started collecting and she had been collecting for years so I have super excited when I saw this in my package today! I'm going to try and collect the whole set of these as I think they are stunning ♥ I have such a long list of pins that I love it's incredible..why are they all so beautiful?!

That's it for my small disney haul ♥ My photos for the challenge will be up soon but my ipod with all the photos on is charging at the moment :/ I have some more posts planned but it's also my summer starting so the blogging maybe abit random and scattered.

Frozen ♥ A Sister More Like Me by Brittney Lee Overview ♥

Hey Lovelies ♥ As many of you know I'm addict or obssessed (whichever one you prefer) with Frozen. If you don't know what Frozen is then you proberly been HIDING UNDER A ROCK SO WAKE UP! I can't let this movie go ;) I love it so much and when I bought The Art of Frozen book and saw all the concept art I love it. My favourite artist was Brittney Lee throughout the entire book and when I found out she was writing books for Frozen with her art I knew I had to get it! This book has been on my wish list since Christmas but I never got it so when I saw it for £5 on amazon I took the oppitunity! I now own the book 'A Sister More Like Me' by Brittany Lee all about the sister realtionship of Elsa and Anna :')

This is book is stunning. It is a children storybook about Elsa and Anna which twists to the story of Frozen. It's all about their differences and why they would want a sister who is more like them. Even though the story is aimed at children, it's very sweet and moving. The pictures though..I would recommend them to anyone! They are perfection ♥

The book starts off with an introduction of the two princesses. They tell us about themselves and they have different writing styles to help us know whose writing is whose. I love how Elsa's is dark coloured and plain, where on the other hand Anna's is bold and colourful and kind of messy! I think my writing style would be abit of both actually quite bold and colourful but also quite refined and shy. What about yours?

Throughout the book Elsa and Anna tell us the differences between them and how they would like a better sister more like them. It seems like these are the bits in 'Do you want to build a snowman?' that happen throughout the years but we don't see. The art is beautiful and very bold with colours. Brittany sticks to deep purple, dark pinks and blacks for Elsa while Anna is light greens, bright pinks and oranges. The art really helps the reader compare the two sisters.

As the book goes on you reach the parts of the movie that you may recongise when Elsa goes to the North Mountain and Anna goes to find her. The final pages of the book are wonderful as they use bright warm colours for both characters as Elsa has let go and Anna doesn't feel alone anymore.

I highly recommend this book to anyone of any age as the story is warming and sweet and the drawings are sensational. I'm definatly going to get the other Brittney Lee books including The Amazing Snowman and Part of Your World. I'm in love with this book and any Frozen, Disney or even art/animation fan would be too ♥

30 day Snap Challenge July 2014 - Day 12 ♥

I had a daddy day today as my Mum went shopping and my sister was out. We went to get some of my letters from the post office and we saw my Nan and Grandad. I also tried buy some shorts but of course I came back empty handed! I loved my daddy day and can't wait to spend 2 weeks with him during the summer holidays :D As I said my Mum went shopping and bought a TON of things for holiday and herself. I was so happy for her and she was really happy with her purchases too! YAY!

Primark Disney Haul - July 2014 ♥

Hey Lovelies ♥ As I said in my last post (snap challenge) I did alot of shopping in yesterday! I went to Primark of course as they are number one on my list for cheap Disney things, so yay!  The prices will be at the bottom..lets get started!

I didn't realise how badly this picture came out until I put it on here..sorry. You will have proberly seen it anyway as it's been around for a while. It's The Jungle Book top from Primark. It has Baloo and Mowgli on it during the Bare Nessicties with the title one. I have been trying to buy this for several weeks now but they were always out of my size :( Luckily they had one left yesterday and I wasn't putting it down! 

These are AMAZING! I think these many be my favourite item in my wardrobe..when I found these I couldn't let go of them they are so perfect ♥  The are leggings (incase you don't know) with mickey mouse heads all over them. I had never seen them before so this was breathtaking. The fit like a glove and I love wearing my disney tops with them and my socks or slippers to go full disney!

I have seen all my instagram disney followers with these and knew they were a must buy when I found them. They had tons and I mean TONS! They have mickey and minnie ones but I got Minnie as I prefered the colour. I'm going on holiday soon so these will be great to go to the pool in and plus they are Disney ♥

 I decided to bunch these together as they are both socks. I love socks especially Disney socks and since Primark have started doing the printed disney scene socks I have been in love. I already have Tinkerbell, Minnie Mouse, Original Characters, Alice in Wonderland and Finding Nemo so to find these Sleeping Beauty comic strip story socks was PERFECTION ♥ I have super happy when I found them as my primark doesn't stock many. I also bought these fluffy Tinkerbell shoes which is pretty weird since it's summer but I still love to wear fluffy socks and slippers and since they had Tinkerbell on, it was a must buy!

I saved the best and my favourite till last. I'm in love with this old-fashioned Disney satchel. I got it at Primark and you can find it in the children section. I saw this on instagram and hoped my primark would have it. It is a satchel backpack so comes with two straps on the back and a handle. There are old Disney cartoons all around it which I would love to actually read! I'm going to take this on holiday with me since it's perfect size and it can find all my things in it :D

I also bought some disney stickers from Ryman's but they aren't too important so I won't bother showing them off. I do recommend going in to Ryman's though as they have some good disney stationary and stickers :')

30 day Snap Challenge July 2014 - Day 10 and 11 ♥

Day 10 ♥

I missed yesterday and I'm super sorry but I was busy writing loads of penpal letters to all my friends! I also went shopping (haul coming) for quite a while and bought alot while I was out including the outfit I'm wearing in the picture. I'm now proudly head to toe Disney :D I have a disney top, leggings and socks on..more details to come :') 

Day 11 ♥

It didn't take long to catch up though! Today was quite a long day..I didn't feel to good and had abit of a meltdown in the evening but I'm use to that now :/ I got some Disney Princess Trading Cards through the post which I was really happy about :) I hadn't seen Snow White in years so my family sat down and watched it together..it was beautiful and it meant alot to me. My sister said she found it abit boring but I think that since it's so old, only a true disney fan can love it ♥

HAPPY 1 YEAR BIRTHDAY TO THE PERKS OF BEING ME!

HAPPY 1 YEAR BIRTHDAY LOVELIES TO MY WONDERFUL ESCAPE! 

I started this blog exactly one year ago when I was feeling extremely low and depressed and didn't know what to do. I had read other blogs in the past and had made several free website things as a child but didn't ever think I could have a blog! I'm so glad that I decided to make this blog. 

I made this blog on the night of the 10th in my bedroom secretly so that if it was a massive flop or I wasn't enjoying it I could just delete it and never think about it again! I got over 60 views that night!! The next day I was in the garden with my Mum, who has a blog (link at the bottom), and she said why don't you start one and I can back saying I already have. She actually cried when she first saw it as it was a big thing for me to do :') 

I so glad I made this blog that night and decided to continue with it because even though you guys might like reading it, this blog also serves as a kind of journey journal for me :') At the beginning of this blog I was a sad shy girl who didn't know why she felt like she did..a year on and I have been diagonsed with aspergers, more confident and happy with myself. A year ago I had to hide myself..my true self away from the world but now I'm free as Elsa says and I can let it go! 

That's why Elsa is on the banner today because she really helped me to fully let go and be who I am. I so glad that Frozen was made and it has such a special place in my heart ♥ So much so that when I saw the parade and fireworks at WDW for the summer event (which should be illegal as I'm not there!) I actually cried. I cried so much because Frozen really helped me and still is so Thankyou Disney ♥ 

But most of all...Thankyou Lovelies for being there and reading my blog! I have loved all the comments I have gotten and recieved..keep em coming :') I wouldn't have kept this blog if you didn't read it. I want to be an inspiration rolemodel that it very childish and loves disney..not the greatest rolemodel but who cares! I'm happier with myself now more than I was a year ago and alot of that is because I don't feel alone. I have met and talked to so many amazing people through this last year on this blog, facebook, tumblr, livejournal and even twitter. 

I'm not going to stop this blog anytime soon so get ready for another magicial disney filled adventure with of course faith, trust and pixie dust ♥

30 day Snap Challenge July 2014 - Day 9 ♥

Day 9 is here and nearly finished actually! Sorry for how late this is today, I have been busy with penpaling and school but I really wanted to post today's picture :') I'm sorry for the photo quality I took it on my ipod but in a weird light :/ Anyways..this is me with a bottle of coke with the name Anna on...no my name is not secretly Anna. If you know me well enough on my blog post you might have already guessed that I bought this bottle of coke because I love Frozen! When I was digging in the coke basket thing with all the names in and spotted this one I was super happy and knew I had to get it :D I didn't even try to look for an Elsa as it's like the 100 most popular names in the UK..although I did find a Bernard and I have never met a Bernard in my life! So hi if your name is Bernard, your name is really unique ;) 

I also got a costa today from a like vending takeaway machine at my local shops and I got the Caramel Chocolate for the first time as it sounded super good! It was the BEST drink I have drunk since the Costa white hot chocolate from christmas. You go Costa Caramel Chocolate!!!
